SPON2 and prostate neoplasm: Primary prostate tumors of this model showed significant upregulated mRNA levels of MINDIN compared to controls (control = 0.0001 ± 0.0001 vs. scrambled siRNA tumor = 0.0054 ± 0.0020 a.u.), whereas MINDIN silencing in prostate tumors decreased the levels of this protein (scrambled siRNA tumor = 0.0054 ± 0.0020 vs. MINDIN siRNA tumor = 0.0002 ± 0.0001 a.u.).
