According to receiver-operating-characteristic (ROC) curve analysis, tumor expression patterns MUC6–CK17+ (for patients with well- to moderately differentiated tumors) and CK17+CD10– (for patients with poorly differentiated tumors) may be clinically useful, given that the area under the curve (AUC) and p values were >0.75 and <0.01, as suggested in the report of Fan et al.
