Furthermore, upregulating MAPK8IP1P2 enhanced the expression of phophorylated MST1/2 (p-MST1/2), phophorylated LATS1 (p-LATS1) and phophorylated YAP1 (p-YAP1), reduced the nuclear translocation of YAP1 and TAZ, but had no effect on total level of MST1 and LATS1 in thyroid cancer cells (Figure 5C).
