Other than REG family and dual oxidase genes, microarray analysis suggested that expression of CEACAM6 and CEACAM7, members of the carcinoembryonic antigen-related cell adhesion molecule family, and MUC1, which inhibits the anti-tumor immune response, was upregulated by more than twofold (Supplementary Table S3). This evidence concerns the gene CEACAM5 and neoplasm.
