We decided to include BCL2 and BCL6 translocations due to their importance in DLBCL pathogenesis, the availability of the data for most DLBCL samples, the strong relationship between BCL2 mutations and BCL2 translocation, and the fact that, in the Lacy series15, the NOTCH2 subtype was enriched in samples with BCL6 fusions. The gene discussed is BCL6; the disease is diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.
