To validate the importance of inhibiting the activity of AMPK/CHK1 in BL-CL cell lines, we tested breast cancer cell lines with known small molecule inhibitors of AMPK and CHK1, i.e., dorsomorphin and Ly2603618, respectively, and observed that they were significantly more effective against BL-CL cell lines than luminal and HER2+ subtypes. This evidence concerns the gene CHEK1 and breast cancer.
