Non-IgE-mediated adverse reactions to fish: they include Food Protein-Induced Enterocolitis Syndrome (FPIES) and Food Protein-Induced Allergic Proctocolitis (FPIAP), of which fish is a major causative agent [38,39,40], and eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE)/gastritis [41,42,43].
