The results showed that 41 DEGs belong to MYB family (26 up-regulated and 15 down-regulated), 29 to both auxin responsive protein (AUX/IAA) and ethylene-responsive transcription factor (ERF) families, these latter already cited above (“Plant hormone related genes” section) indicating that they play a key role in regulating the transcriptional response induced by the pathogenic fungal infection (Figure 5). This evidence concerns the gene MYB and fungal infectious disease.
