During the late phase of endotoxemia in WT mice, the TLR pathway was still affected by LPS administration in hepatic tissue (adjPval = 3.81E + 00, ratio = 23/76) as revealed by the high expression of adapter proteins mediating signal transmission, such as lipopolysaccharide binding protein (Lbp), CD14, and myeloid differentiation primary response 88 (Myd88) (Fig. 3A,B). This evidence concerns the gene CD14 and serum lipopolysaccharide activity.
