CD274 and non-small cell lung carcinoma: Some clinical studies support the administration of combined radio‐immunotherapy; for example, the PACIFIC study (a phase III, double‐blind multicenter clinical study with a 2:1 randomized control design)5 included patients with locally advanced NSCLC treated with durvalumab (a PD‐L1 inhibitor) followed by radiochemotherapy and reported significantly better overall survival (OS) and progression‐free survival (PFS) in this patient population than in those treated with radiochemotherapy alone.
