We hypothesized that HMGB1 can be used as a relevant parameter in the evaluation of OSA because oxidative stress is strongly associated with OSA.10, 11 In this study, we aimed to evaluate the relationship between HMGB1 levels and polysomnographic (PSG) findings and further support our hypothesis using a chronic intermittent hypoxia (CIH) murine model.
