In the MCCS, higher tumour methylation showed association with shorter overall survival for APC (HR = 1.28, 95% CI: 1.07–1.53), HIST3H2A/HIST3H2BB (HR = 1.28, 95% CI: 1.02–1.62), CELF2 (HR = 1.30, 95% CI: 1.07–1.58) and TMEM101 (HR = 1.21, 95% CI: 1.00–1.48). This evidence concerns the gene CELF2 and neoplasm.
