DKC1 alterations have been found associated to skin cancer [255], breast [256, 257], colon [254, 258, 259], lung [254, 260], prostate [261], head and neck [262, 263], glioma [264], HCCs [265], and specially bone marrow failure syndromes and hematologic malignancies including chronic lymphocytic leukaemia [266, 267] or multiple myeloma [268–270] (Table 3). The gene discussed is DKC1; the disease is glioma.
