LOF(loss-of-function) mutations that disrupt PRC2 activity have been described inall three core components: EZH2, SUZ12, and EED [251-268](Fig. 4).LOF mutations in EZH2 andEED have been shown to be associated with a negative prognosisin myelodysplastic syndrome/myeloproliferative neoplasm [251, 253, 254, 255, 261, 265, 268]. This evidence concerns the gene EZH2 and myelodysplastic syndrome.
