BATF2 and central nervous system cancer: We further stained MDSCs using a monocyte marker (Ly-6C) and a granulocyte marker (Ly-6G)(data not shown), and found that upregulation of BATF2 caused a significant reduction in Ly-6C+Gr-1+monocytes-MDSCs (Mo-MDSCs) and MDSCs recruitment in human glioma cell line U251-BATF2 compared to U251-Ctrl (p < 0.001) (Fig. 2B–D).
