Additionally, in order to examine the clinical relevance of our findings indicating the relation between the expression of these genes and βArr1 we performed TCGA data analysis and found out that CDC45, BUB1, CCNB1, and CCNB2 genes were consistently and significantly upregulated (p < 0.05) and reversely correlated with βArr1 expression in breast tumours compared to normal tissue samples (Fig. 7) and this reverse correlation was significant (Pearson correlation, rARRB1 vs CDC45 = − 0.356, rARRB1 vs BUB1 = − 0.394, rARRB1 vs CCNB1 = − 0.388, rARRB1 vs CCNB2 = − 0.397; p < 0.05). This evidence concerns the gene CCNB2 and breast neoplasm.
