In the multivariate Cox proportional hazards analysis adjusted by age, history of cardiovascular disease, creatinine, and C-reactive protein (CRP), which were significant in the univariate analysis, the GNRI and ERI were significant predictors for CVD mortality (HR, 0.87; 95%CI, 0.82–0.92, and HR, 1.09; 95%CI, 1.05–1.13, respectively) (Table 3).
