Additionally, the expression of P‐STAT1 was consistent with the data above, which markedly increased in the periodontitis group and the hypertension group, and was the highest in the periodontitis with hypertension group, indicating that periodontitis and hypertension could promote the activation of STAT1, while inhibition of STAT1, following injection of fludarabine, prevented the activation of STAT1 (Fig. S5). This evidence concerns the gene STAT1 and hypertensive disorder.
