In line with previous reports [28], the probability to remit disease 2 years after diagnosis was higher (OR 1.32) when the frequency of Vα2.3+ T-cells was high in BAL as well as when patients were carrying the HLA-DRB1*03 allele (OR 39.4), which was mostly attributed to LS patients (figure 4b). The gene discussed is HLA-DRB1; the disease is Leigh syndrome.
