PTH and postmenopausal osteoporosis: SrRan administrated orally in a daily dose of 2 g seems to be a safe approach and effective in decreasing the risk of vertebral fractures in postmenopausal osteoporosis patients [33,72] and documented to improve BMD, similar to other anti-osteoporotic drugs such as bisphosphonates, selective estrogen receptor modulators (SERMs), parathyroid hormone (PTH), and denosumab [23].
