We investigated the relationship between JMJD8 and malignancy in NSCLC through which JMJD8 affects NSCLC malignancy using cultured A549 and H1299 cells, and found that JMJD8 has a major influence on the biological behavior of NSCLC, including on its proliferation and invasion, and affects the expression of functional proteins (cyclin B1, p21, MMP9) and key proteins (p-EGFR, p-AKT) in malignancy-related pathways. This evidence concerns the gene JMJD8 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
