The Cox regression analysis (shown in Table 4) showed that cardiovascular readmission within the first year after dialysis was associated with a higher risk of all-cause mortality (HR 2.66, 95% CI 1.91–3.70, p < 0.001) and CVD mortality (HR 3.42, 95%CI 2.20–5.31, p < 0.001) after adjusting for substantial confounders, including age, sex, DM history, CVD history, hypertension history, BMI, hemoglobin, albumin, calcium, phosphorus, TC, triglyceride, HDLC, LDLC, sodium, potassium, WCCr and RRF.
