ACE2 and infection: It has been shown in multiple studies both in vitro, with pseudotyped and authentic virus, and in vivo, on models with laboratory animals (including human ACE2 (hACE2)-transgenic mice, adenovirus–hACE2-transduced mice, hamsters, and rhesus macaques), that monoclonal antibodies to RBD demonstrate potent infection-neutralizing capabilities [23,24,25].
