PSMC2 and peanut allergic reaction: In the first model, only the peanut coefficient emerged as statistically significant (OR = 3.2, CI: 1.1–9.3 and p-value = 0.05), while in the second one, a significant association was found for hazelnut (OR = 4.1, CI: 1.5–13.0 and (p-value = 0.03), proving that carriers of a RPT1 FLG mutation have a four-times increased risk of developing hazelnut allergy and a three-times increased risk of showing peanut allergy.
