Our results showed that (a) lidocaine suppresses viability and migration of all breast cancer cell lines with different potency; (b) TRPM7 is a target for the effects of lidocaine on viability and migration of MDA-MB-231; (c) data of AU565, T47D, and MDA-MB-468 supports the hypothesis, but not as strongly. This evidence concerns the gene TRPM7 and breast carcinoma.
