To determine whether the findings in the mouse AML model had relevance to human disease, we performed unsupervised hierarchical clustering analysis on public data composed of 163 primary adult human AML samples (GSE12417)28 depending on the expression of highly expressed genes (mouse mTORC1 high gene signature (mTOR-GS)) in mTORC1 high compared to mTORC1 low mouse AML cells. Here, MTOR is linked to acute myeloid leukemia.
