Other targets found to be upregulated include CPT2 (involved in fatty-acids beta-oxidation and generation of reactive oxygen species, which have a role in promoting apoptosis [30]), SNAI3 (related to embryogenesis and mesodermal differentiation, and found to be expressed in germ cell tumors [31]), PGF (related to trophoblast differentiation [32]), and PPP1R15A (related to stress-induced DNA damage, growth arrest and apoptosis [33]).
