When compared with normal controls, nine lncRNAs (AC018766.4, CROCCP2, CTD-3092A11.2, LINC00342, RP11-553L6.5, XXbac-B461K10.4, NEAT1, RP11-228B15.4, and RP11-311C24.1) that target to upregulated miRNAs showed lower expression in breast cancer, whereas five lncRNAs (HOTAIR, LINC00467, RECQL4, LINC00665, and MAL2) that target to downregulated miRNAs were significantly upregulated in breast cancer (Supplementary Figure 3). The gene discussed is MAL2; the disease is breast cancer.
