Once NF-κB was inhibited in bladder cancer cells, the expression of p-MDM2 was decreased and p53 was up-regulated, and the combination of DOX+EGCG showed no obvious effect in SW780 cell migration and proliferation (Figure 6), indicating the importance of NF-κB/MDM2/p53 pathway played in DOX+EGCG induced effects.
