TNF and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy: Indeed, while ECM/mechanosensitive pathways were enriched in both the LAs and LVs of sedentary mice at 2 weeks, direct comparisons between chambers highlight the predominance of TNF-dependent differentially gene sets (Figure 6B), including ECM/integrin signaling, dilated/hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, and actin/tubulin folding, in the atria, which reinforces the chamber-specific effects of both exercise and TNF on transcriptome remodeling.
