CCL2 and neoplasm: We have also observed an increase in the concentration of monocyte chemotactic protein-1 (MCP-1/CCL2) at day -7 (Figure 3B) and -28 (Figure 3C) in the plasma of mice that bore a tumour induced by injection of HT29-Snail17 cells as compared to control mice injected with HT29-pcDNA cells.
