In that regard, previous studies have shown that the GABAB-R agonist baclofen can inhibit APC activation and functions [18,19,20,21,42] and thereby indirectly limit Th17 and Th1 responses, which may have contributed to the observation that baclofen treatment delays the onset of T1D in prediabetic NOD mice [20].
