The significant gene list generated from the RNA-seq analysis aligned to the human genome included multiple genes associated with poor prognosis across cancers (ADM, CXCR4, DUSP1, FAM43A, HK2, IGFBP5, NDRG1, and VEGFA) [20, 47–58] and several genes (CXCR4, HIF-1, VEGFs, and DUSP1) have been associated with poor prognosis in epithelial ovarian cancer [17, 19, 22–24, 55, 59–67].
