Several lncRNAs that function as oncogenes in lung cancer have been identified (Table 1), for example, lncRNA H19 is highly expressed in the A549, H1299, H23, and SPC-A1 lung cancer cell lines, and inhibits miR-200a, miR-196b, and miR-29b-3p [30-32]. The gene discussed is H19; the disease is lung carcinoma.
