The regression analysis showed that for the analysed clinical and laboratory variables characterising the severity and course of RA, lower-peak GLS was associated with higher activity of antibodies against cyclic citrullinated peptide and higher concentration of neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin, while lower-peak GCS was associated with higher activity of antibodies against cyclic citrullinated peptide. This evidence concerns the gene LCN2 and rheumatoid arthritis.
