WNT2B and hepatocellular carcinoma: As shown in the schematic representation in Fig. 8, our current study illustrated that polarization-promoting factors in the HCC TME can activate β-catenin by upregulating the expression of Wnt2b in macrophages, which can promote the polarization of TAMs to M2-like macrophages—a process associated with the activation of HCC-TAMs glycolysis.
