Further investigation showed that silencing the expression of Wnt2b or using TLR9 agonist CpG ODN could both inhibit the activation of Wnt/β-catenin signalling and downregulate the expression of c-Myc in HCC-TAMs, inhibiting the glycolysis of TAMs and the process of M2 polarization induced by HCC-TCM. This evidence concerns the gene WNT2B and hepatocellular carcinoma.
