Regarding the data of the other lung cancer cell lines we tested, in H1975, the expression of CD44 was low, indicating the absence of HA CD44/RHAMM pathway; while in H1299 and H460, the expression of HAS2 was low, resulting in the low sensitivity of the cell toward emodin, which agreed with the finding that emodin affected the cells through HAS2-HA-CD44/RHAMM pathway. This evidence concerns the gene HAS2 and lung cancer.
