TNFSF10 and Alzheimer disease: In human precuneus of AD brains and AppNL-G-F/NL-G-F mice, we found 44 deregulated genes (3 upregulated and 41 downregulated), including TNFSF10 and SLC6A8, whereas in AD precuneus and rTg4510 mice, we found 13 deregulated genes (2 upregulated and 11 downregulated) including PTPRD. These results suggest that some deregulated genes are common between microglia of different AD mouse models and human sporadic AD precuneus, and that AppNL-G-F/NL-G-F and rTg4510 cortical microglia may represent different neuroinflammatory aspects relevant to AD pathologies.
