Wogonin was found to upregulate p53 and p53-inducible glycolysis in colon cancer (HCT-116), ovarian cancer (A2780), and liver cancer (HepG2) cells and downregulated glucose transporter 1 (GLUT1) in cancer cells expressing wild type but not mutated p53. Here, TP53 is linked to malignant colon neoplasm.
