MAPT and Alzheimer disease: To further these results, we are looking to integrate this approach with the results obtained using traditional core pathophysiological biomarkers for AD diagnosis across the same samples: low CSF Aβ1–42 concentrations and elevated CSF total tau (t-tau) or hyperphosphorylated tau (p-tau) concentrations or positivity to Aβ-PET (i. e., high retention of Aβ radiotracer).
