BRAF and ameloblastoma: This theory is in line with our observation of somatic mutations on Ameloblastoma from three aspects: first of all, there is a common mutation (BRAF V600E) shared by all four patients; secondly, all four patients carried other mutation (s) that also hit genes within the same gene network of BRAF, and this network regulates the vital process of cell proliferation; lastly, BRAF V600E occurred earlier than other mutations.
