RASSF5 and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma: Notably, Rassf5 is methylated in the majority of esophageal and head and neck squamous cell carcinomas (Guo et al., 2015; Steinmann et al., 2009) and has been shown to inhibit Ras growth via senescence (Donninger et al., 2015) and apoptosis (Elmetwali et al., 2016; Park et al., 2010).
