APOB and inherited lipid metabolism disorder: Pemafibrate treatment was also effective against other components of the dyslipidaemia associated with the metabolic syndrome, including lowering VLDL-C (43 to 48%), remnant cholesterol (48 to 50%) and apo B and C-III, raising HDL-C (21 to 14%) and promoting a shift to a more favourable lipoprotein profile, with fewer small and very small LDL.
