When DLEU2 was silenced using short interfering RNA (siRNA) in CRC cell line, the results demonstrated that DLEU2 silencing suppressed CRC cell tumorigenesis in vitro, which was associated with decreased expression of cyclin dependent kinase 6(CDK6), ZEB1, and ZEB2 as well as enhancing the expression of Cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor 1A (CDKN1A). Here, CDK6 is linked to colorectal carcinoma.
