This was shown to be relevant for the development of CRS in mouse models (117): CRS was ameliorated by inhibition of catecholamine signaling by atrial natriuretic peptide or methyltyrosine in mice transgenic for human myeloid supporting cytokines (SMG3 mice) treated with human CD19-CAR T cells, and in wild-type mice treated with murine CD19-CAR T cells. The gene discussed is CD19; the disease is congenital rubella syndrome.
