In summary, the above results indicate that BCP may activate the cAMP/PKA pathway (Figure 9), causing CI-AMPARs at the synaptic membrane surface to exert neuroprotective effects in acute ischemic stroke, thus regulating LTP and LTD and improving the learning and memory abilities in individuals with post-acute ischemic stroke cognitive impairment.
