In the present study, with a NAFLD model induced by a high-fat diet described previously (Dong et al., 2019), the effects and associated mechanism of INU supplementation on NAFLD inflammation through LPS-TLR4-Mψ-NF-κB-NLRP3 inflammatory pathway were investigated, aiming to enriching theoretical foundation for INU in the prevention and treatment of NAFLD. The gene discussed is NLRP3; the disease is metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease.
