A recent study reported an interesting phenomenon that in AP, pancreatic acinar cells undergo acinar-to-dendritic cell transition, which in turn promotes the differentiation of naive CD4+T cells into CD4+/IFN-γ+Th1 and CD4+/IL-17A+Th17 cells, thereby aggravating local inflammation and tissue damage. The gene discussed is CD4; the disease is alkaline phosphatase measurement.
