IL6 and COVID-19: In these single-arm studies, mortality ranged from 0 to 43% in patients with COVID-19 treated with anti-IL-6 signaling agents, and the raw overall mortality was 15.27%, which was significantly lower than the pooled mortality of the SOC group (15.27 vs. 27.24%, p < 0.0001) and also the anti-IL-6 signaling group (15.27 vs. 22.47%, p < 0.0001) in the meta-analysis.
