As a consequence, typical cerebellar symptoms, although prominent in FXTAS patients (Hagerman et al., 2001; Tassone et al., 2007; Hagerman and Hagerman, 2013, 2016), were not expected in our mouse model since the CamKII-α is only expressed in a very limited part of the cerebellum.
